Joshua Chan

Joshua was born in Mexico City. He started gymnastics at an early age and eventually landed a spot at the Junior National Team, competing at both national and international meets. He’s a Level II gymnastics coach and led multiple gymnasts to national team level. After retiring from gymnastics he moved to Redondo Beach as started working for Ryan Doyle at Crossfit Redondo as a gymnastics and fitness coach. After 6 years he acquired the gym and founded Redondo Beach Fitness.

During his gymnastics career Joshua also worked for his brother in the family restaurant. There he found a passion for service and attention that he hopes to bring into the fitness world.

Miguel Arroyo

Miguel grew up in Veracruz Mexico, since he was a child he was passionate about soccer, baseball, and tae kwon do. He participated in high school teams, but it was until college when he had his first introduction to high intensity training thanks to a childhood friend who had a martial arts and functional training gym.

Miguel has been training athletes for more than 5 years. He holds a Crossfit level 2 certification, gymnastics trainer certified, and Hybrid Kettlebel System Level 2 Trainer.

Outside of the gym, he is passionate about soccer and enjoys supporting his favorite team Barcelona FC and spending time with his family at the beach.

Coach Chai has been involved in strength and conditioning for over 20 years. During her athletic career she competed in powerlifting at both a national and international level. Her experienced and attention to detail is unparalleled
